The Kidapawan Trail to Mt. Apo is said to be the shortest climb to Mt. Apo

Kidapawan City’s major tourist attraction is the mighty Mt. Apo and the city is dubbed to be located at the FOOTHILLS OF MT. APO, so basically if you are Kidapawan you might just be on your way to climb the Philippines highest mountain.

Most climbers say that the easiest and the fastest way to Mt. Apo is through Kidapawan trail. In just a day you can reach the camp site Lake Venado to have a short rest and if you are an experienced climber you can continue your way to the top.

When climbing Mt. Apo using the Kidapawan trail, make sure that you have to register first at the City Tourism Office for a short briefing and orientation.
