The view from Bacquit Bay reveals limestone rock islands that calls every traveler to El Nido to explore and experience the magic behind it. I learned that the writer of the motion picture “The Beach” with Leonardo De Caprio wrote his novel here in El Nido, he was inspired by the beauty of the place, however the film was set in Thailand. So what must have moved the writer to create his masterpiece?

Island Hopping tours in El Nido is divided into 4 tours depending on the distance of the islands and all travel agencies that offers tours have the same rates because it is regulated by the government, so wherever agencies you go, you will be given the same rates.

Heres an overview of the tours you can choose from.

Tour A: Miniloc Island, 7 Commando, Secret Lagoon, Big Lagoon

Tour B: Snake Island, Lagen Island, Inabuyutan Island

Tour C: Mantinloc Island, Taputian Island, Secret Beach

Tour D: (i forgot, will update asap)

Because I have a little money, I only booked for Tour A with lunch for P600 but I had to pay extra P200 for the environmental fee valid for 1 week. They say that Tour C is better because its already in the open sea that is facing the South China Sea.

This was the first island of Tour A, forgive me I forgot the name, as soon as I retrieve it, I will edit this posts haha. I cant forget this island because it gives me bruises ans scars on my feet because we had to cross from the boat to the island in the water, there we were pounded by big waves and it almost hit my camera, good thing I was able to place it on its bag. Immediately I gave the camera to our boatman while I walk towards the shore.

The water was full of big and spiky corals and when I was hit by the waves, I fell and my body was pushed to the corals producing bruises, small cuts and terrible pains. My other friends from the boat also experienced several minor lacerations.

The island was beautiful, it was sorrounded by limestones, coconut trees. We spend less time here as we were excited to visit other islands.

The picture above is from the secret lagoon in the island, you have to get into a small hole to see this.
