14 Hours Bus ride from Siem Reap to Saigon, Vietnam

Saturday, August 14th, 2010

After the wholeday trip at Angkor Wat, I headed back to my hostel to have a rest because Im catching up the 12 Midnight bus from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. Its very easy to find Foreign Exchange around SR, there are many international banks that accepts Visa, Mastercard, Electron, Cirrus, Maestro linked cards and there are many stores that offer foreign exchanges. There were also plenty of cheap food finds around.

The bus leaves SR at 12midnight. A person picked me up at my hostel and brought me to the terminal. It was a bus from Paramount Express for $30. It is vey interesting to note that going to Bangkok via Siem Reap is so cheap, the trip will only cost $8. Buses like these have built in toilet used for urinating only.
