Undeniably Angkor Wat is the most famous tourist destination in Cambodia. Looking at a Cambodian flag, Angkor Wat is a national symbol, truly the center of all Cambodian citizens.

Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap, a city located in the middle of the Kingdom, it is a 6 hours bus ride from the capital Phnom Penh. The city is quite small but very clean. To get around the city, tuktuks are widely available, even single motorcycles are available for rent. I can see some foreigners using their bicycles around.Foreign exchange is not a problem, there are many stores that offer money changes and ATMs are everywhere.
I started my tour at Angkor Wat at 7:30am, the sun is up and Im ready to go. I have a prebooked tuktuk which I got from my arrival in the city. The driver looks Filipino and his english is acceptable. We stopped at Angkor Wat Office to buy some day tour tickets and it cost me $20 for a whole day pass. There were hundred of tourists from Korea and Japan. The road to Angkor is cool, there are many trees around, the streets were impressively clean.
I was very thrilled to see Angkor Wat from a distance, my heart was in palpitations. What a beautiful site it holds. I arrived in Angkor around 8:30am.
Forgive me I did not give justice to the pictures, actually I have brought a new camera but I dont know how to use the features, so instead I got these blurry photos. When I got there, I can see some minor renovations around the temple.
The experience was amazing. It took me almost 2 hours walking around the temple. If only I have DSLR camera. Actually, if you like travelling, you must invest for this special camera. Well, Im saving up for this one maybe not this year but next year for that gadget.
If you want the best Angkor Wat experience, I reccomend that you book a Helicopter and Balloon tours. It is just jawdropping to see Angkor at birds eye view.
After Angkor Wat, we headed to Angkor Tom within the Angkor Park area.
There were just so many temples around the park. I lost my record on the name of the temples Ive been through.
