Flashback: G12 Asia Conference Singapore

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

Last March 2010, I attended the G12 ASIA Conference held at Singapore Expo’s Max Pavillion. It was a life changing event where I received a confirmation of being Gods’ worker in his field. The event was attended by 20 countries around the world as far as Africa and Brazil. Its really amazing how the vision has transpired in the world, soon all of the nations of the world will be transformed by knowing Jesus as more and more leaders are created for God.

This years convention was themed REACH YOUR GENERATION. I believe that a lot of people today are disconnected with Christ because of their sins however, when we reach to the lost, we are bringing them the Good News that Christ is here to be our savior. Jesus did not come on earth if we are all righteous, but for the sinners like me and you. As a Christian, we always face with sin everyday, there is no big sin or small sin. Its only through the blood of Christ that justified us. The enemy deceives us that we are not worthy of his love thats why people depart from God, of course, God does not abandon us, its us that break our ties with God. Thats why, we have to Reach our Generations, especially the Youth and the lost, we should be radical to tell everyone that Jesus here for us, willing to forgive if we just accept him in our life.

Just as the Bible said, there are many to harvest but there are few workers. However, perhaps this can also be restated as “many to harvest but the workers are lazy”. Yes, there are lots of Christians now who whew who Jesus is, they know this man was the one who was crucified and saved us from our sins. Unfortunately, only few people actually experience Christ in their life despite the background knowledge. Experiencing is better than knowing and this compelled me and my BCC friends to share what the Lord has done in our lives. A lot of Christians now are silent, after going to sermons, they leave the building and went home and forgot the point to share what he has learned.

I felt very blessed becoming Gods workers in the frontline. We used to think that its only the Pastor’s or the priests job to preach the gospel, however, each of us can be a pastor. To pastor means to lead, for example, if you have a flock of friends and you lead them to a beer house, that makes you a pastor because just like a shepherd, those friends of yours are your sheeps. In deed, the Bible is right when it says about evil shepherds because they lure them to the wolves or the devil.

Overall, eventhough I am a nurse in a huge government hospital, I believe that its not my primary job anymore. As the Lord says, Seek first the Kingdom of God. Now, I am proud to say I’m a worker of God, planting seeds and making disciples.
