Surfing to Siargao

I am flying to the surfing capital of the Philippines, Siargao Islands this coming February 2011.

 When you think of surfing, you make think Hawaii but the Philippines also proud to have Siargao where many surfing competitions are being held. I can’t wait to discover this on my own.

Hope you enjoy your trip , Siargao sure is a wonderful place to visit , not just for the surfing , the whole Island has a friendly ambiance and is well worth exploring , motorcycles can be hired for between 3-500 php per day but be careful if it’s wet as some of the roads have not yet been re-surfaced .

Try surfing at not only General Luna but plaaces like Pacifico and Burgos too as there are many undiscovered beaches with some great surf in these areas .
