Cello’s Doughnut

Wednesday, April 28th, 2010

Photobucket

At first, I am not a usual doughnut lover but when I tried Krispy Kreme and GoNuts Doughnuts, I instantly became a fan of it and go crazy for these sweet tooth delights. Luckily, that same tasty doughnut is now available in Davao, its called CELLO’s DOUGHNUT located at Chimes Specialty Store, Sales St, Davao City.

I just love their doughnuts, they have a wide variety of flavors and my top 2 tummy fillers are the durian doughnut and the cheese doughnut. Its an excellent gift idea also, they can even personalize you doughnut with letters to form words. All these comes from a very reasonable cost, now, you dont have to carry Krispy Kreme as pasalubong from Manila because great tasting dougnut is here.

Chooks to Go

Photobucket

There are many lechon manok or roasted chicken houses around Davao that promises tasty and sauceless chicken products but none of them is comparable to the newest craze in town, its the Chooks To Go Honeyroasted Chicken. True to their word, Chooks to Go doesnt need sauce because the taste comes from within, its like they injected their secret recipe marinade on chicken flesh, other known brands seems like their chicken depends the taste on the sauce and even parts are charred.

I confessed I consumed the whole chicken when I first tried it, it was just P99 before. Eventhough Chook-To-Go has no restaurant, they are selling chicken from their ministores, they have become the new symbol of roasted chicken. There are now many branches around Davao, soon gonna invade all areas in the city, this could be the end of the charcoal roasted chicken.
