2009 is almost over, well in some countries, New Year has just started, its 2010 in some parts of the world. Before, we end 2009 here in the Philippines, I can truly say that 2009 was the best year of my life. First of all, its because this year I became a Christian and had an encounter with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It’s the best thing that happened to me, I have grown a personal relationship with God like I never did before. I thought my Christianity was okay all along but God had planned our rendezvous together. Ofcourse, I would like to thank my G12 and Buhangin Community Church family for this moment that I would really cherish forever. Thanks to my cell leader, Eddred for bringing me to church.
Being with God fills the emptiness in my heart. Its the opportunity to be with him and to know him more as I walk with him everyday of my life. I’m overjoyed that God loved me alot even though Im such a sinner and disobeyed him for many times. I would have not recognized this until I went back to the cross. The blood of Jesus saved me. Like everyday is a battle, sometimes, I fell on the soil as I walk to the finish line, but I will never stop and will finish the race. 
Secondly, 2009 opened alot of doors for me, this year was my most travelled year, I enjoyed the sights and sounds of the country from North to South. Almost every month, I have been a jetsetter, being able to explore fascinating Ilocos Norte, got awed by the beautiful sceneries in Central Visayas, sun burned by the beautiful beaches of Negros, mystified by the island of Siquijor so on.
I also went to Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau this year. Whats great about it was my mom and I travelled together this time in HK and Macau. Finally, she had a break from her busy schedule as a teacher and a businesswoman.
Third, I gained more friends, I have a new family at church and thats why I give all my thanks to the one and only God, Jesus Christ for the blessings he had pourned on me this year. All the glory and honor to him.
Actually, I have so many things to thank about even the trials and problems, I still thank God for it. God has been faithful. I pray that 2010 will be another great year for me.
Until my breath runs dry, I will sing to you, praise you, adore you until we finally meet Lord. I will wait for you.
