I often see people coming from Hong Kong wearing statement shirts saying “LOST IN HONG KONG”, at first for me, it was a very frightening statement for a first timer visiting the island because looking at the massive structures, buildings and crowded people, its inevitable that you might get lost while eventually touring around the island coupled with non-english speaking citizens, it could be a disaster thats why HK was very part of my dream destinations.
However, I was all wrong, HK is probably the highest cosmopolitan city I’ve been to with tourist friendly transport system, its very easy to navigate around the metropolis. The subway system is unbelievable, its far better than in Singapore. Now I can relate why many people are addicted to HK, aside from its close proximity in the Philippines, its a tourist haven, shoppers paradise and a kids playground.
Due to the volume of pictures I took, here are some selected photo’s during my trip. A 4 day trip is not enough in Hong Kong, there are just lots of things to do. This is definetely not the last time I will visit Hong Kong.
Day 1: After locating our hostel, we immediately went to Ocean Park, city tour, Victoria Harbour.
Despite the news of a rainy weather, we were blessed with a sunshine. We went to the a garden park, window shopping and Disney Land.
what an interesting trip…
next time you visit hongkong… try to drop by sa lan kwai fong for some nice party…
