Cheap finds and eats at Iloilo and Party the Ilongo way

Monday, June 1st, 2009

It was raining yesterday morning in Iloilo and my countryside tour to Southern loilo was cancelled.

What I did yesterday was doing bargain hunting for some cheap finds at Marymart boutique shops. Marymart is located at the back of Ongbun Pension, there is an alley takes you directly to Marymart for less than a minute. I was not disappointed to what I have found, there are lots of clothes to choose from and they had really great designs especially in mens fashion. For me, its really difficult to find good bargain (aka Ukay) shops in Davao for men but I found some shops here that are comparable to signature clothes. Now I know where do guys at Smashville got their outfit for party. I bought pair of sandals, shorts and couple of t-shirts for my Bacolod trip today.

Speaking of Smallville, I was there last night and I can say that it is more beautiful than in Davao. The ambiance, buildings and music are way better than Davao’s Torres, Rizal or Damosa. The place is classy, youthful and vibrant. There was even a Mardi Gras and a firedance show at Club 21. There are lots of clubs here and the food are fantastic. Illongos really know how to party well. The guys actually also dress up that Im not used too back home. Beer is quite expensive here though.

The restaurant is very modern, they use LCD or plasma TV displaying their menu. The ambiance is also nice for a place so affordable.

I ordered their rice meals at P49 that comes with 8oz drink and I was craving for halohalo that time even though it was raining and I love it so much. If I have more cash, I’d order some more.Haha. Actually, Im on a diet now, Im gaining weight already.

The food will really satisfy your cravings.

In Iloilo, you will never run out of cheap finds and foods.
