PAL’s Econolight vs Go Lite

Since Philippine Airlines offers Econolight fare, its one of my preferred ticket when I travel. Econolight is a no-frills product of PAL, it is cheaper compared to the normal regular fare but with no meals, non refundable, non rebookable and you will have a rear seating with econolight stickers on it. However, it has free baggage allowance compared to Cebu Pacific’s Go lite. Sometimes PAL and Cebu Pacific fares are almost the same and PAL is my top choice unless Cebu Pacific have their crazy sales.

There’s not much difference really if you are seated on the back. Its more closer to the toilet though so you will be ahead of others waiting in line for the toilet although you can smell slight odor coming from the toilet. Don’t worry about the meals or snacks they serve, just make sure you are full when you are aboard or you can bring fastfood and eat it when everyone is being served.
