Dream destination: Ireland

Sunday, December 16th, 2007

One of my dream destinations is Ireland. I'm always fascinated by their picturesque sceneries, castles, laid back atmosphere and the leprechauns. During college, I have a friend named Michelle and her family is from Ireland, she invited me to go there. She said I don't have to worry about the accommodation coz they have a huge house there. All I need to do is to prepare myself pocket money and my airfare. However, we need visa to go there but she said her mom will sponsor my stay for faster visa processing but unfortunately the plan didn't push through because of some unexpected events.

Dublin is the capital of Ireland. There are lots of attractions in Dublin including the magnificent Dublin castle that takes us back into Medieval times. There are also cheap accommodation in the city. Dublin hotels  come for as low as 75 Euro a night. Traveling in groups can even avail of the bigger discount. Touring other parts of Ireland is not a problem because of easy transportation on land and on the air. Other popular destinations are Cardiff, New Castle and Leeds

You also don't have to spend time looking for accommodations in the web coz there's a site that could help you choose and save on  the place you want to stay. Cardiff hotels, New Castle hotels, Leeds hotels are available 24/7 to take care of your hotel needs. Choose over 100 hotels and inns in a click of a mouse.

Interesting! I’ll visit the Visayas and Mindanao first before going to Ireland, never been there. Hehehe. Owell, my classmate’s Namphril Malaluan, Ingrid’s youngest brother. Ingrid’s already in 3rd year but we don’t really know each other, I just know her name because of Namphril.

Wow…Ireland is also my dream destination. One of my favorite writers is a Dubliner, Maeve Binchy. Her novels have always amused me because they tour around Dublin..the hotels, the restaurants, that I can almost feel I’m there. One day, we will be there… :)
