Panic Attack

One more Sunday to go and its judgment time because there's no turning back, its my NCLEX-RN Examination in Makati City, Philippines next month. This past few days Ive been sleeping around 1AM to study my lessons. I always have a feeling that my preparation wasn't enough, there are still so much that I should have learned. This is perhaps what we call Panic attack. 

The thing that I am excited most is flying an airplane to Manila and if possible I would not want to leave the airplane, haha. BTW, I'm riding Air Philippines once more which I purchased 2 months ago during their promo "Libreng Balik". It cost me around P3500 round trip and I'm booked at St Illians Inn Makati. 

Gladly now I have time to surf the web. Im asking all of you to please pray with me during my exam that I will not have the spirit of panic instead an active mind, body and soul.

Amigoas!

Its not your average internet cafe. 

While walking along Duterte St., I saw an attractive devilish logo in bright red. Puzzled what it was, its an internet cafe but different one. They have a really nice ambiance and atmosphere, the units are all in flat screen and it smells good too at a very affordable cost!! 

Amigoas reminds me of my trip in Cebu. Whats the relation? Amigoas sounds like very Cebuano, although I really dont know what it means but its similar to Amigo or a friend. Enough of this gibberish. Hahah. But the main story is really my survival in the queen city of the South — Cebu. 

I bought my plane ticket last July when Air Philippines had their crazy Otso-otso fare or P88 one way excluding the taxes, all in, it cost me around P1065 or just about P2100 round trip. Everyone knows I love to travel. So, I started to safe money from my weekly allowance for my Cebu escapade. Its a sacrifice for me coz I started to abhor on my favorite things to do however it certainly paid alot. I also started a research on the best deals regarding accommodation and transportation.

Orient me to Reality

This has been a very exhausting week, glad I had a chance to visit my second favorite mall here in Davao, SM after CHIMES (sosyal) hehe. My most favorite part of he mall is the Home Decor department, I really feel astonished by the great home decorations. Everytime I went to that department, I feel like Im in the fantasy world day dreaming of my future bachelor pad with beautiful interiors. 

What I dreamed about is after I open my door in my future pad, I want to be like a SPA where it has a vaporized smoke and fresh plants in manly paint color combinations. I want to have a Sony superflat HD Tv worth P120,000 which I saw at SM's electronic fair, coupled to that is my new Honda CRV. WOw, I need a million of pesos to make this a reality. 

Now, please orient me to reality? 

On Duty

This Friday will be my last day at DMC after 4 months of intensive Ward nurse training and after this I hope to be a part of the DMC family as a staff nurse in one of the wards. Overall, I had so much fun and learning and it certainly improved my knowledge and skills as well as attitude in caring for the patients. I've handled diverse medical cases which I have only read in books. DMC is really a great place for training nurses to be globally competent. 

My thoughts on my last ward, Pedia ward is I love this ward so much. Its so ironic because previously I really abhor pediatric clients but now I even extend my shifting hours and help the staff nurses, even though its quite frustrating sometimes because of the poor families at the ward but at the end of the day I feel so productive because you have done something for them. I'd love to be assigned at Pediaward if I'll get employed here.
